Clarical Privacy Policy
Effective: October 15, 2026 · Publisher: Dinero Automation LLC
Clarical is a day planner for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android phones. We built it so your schedule stays yours. This policy covers every version; where Android works differently, it says so.
We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data.
What Clarical accesses on your device
- Calendars: to show your events and to create the time blocks you accept.
- Reminders: to show, create, update and complete your tasks, using a “Clarical” list and any lists you choose.
- Notifications: to send the morning plan, evening wrap-up and end-of-block alerts you turn on.
- Location (optional): only if you turn on Travel time, to estimate when to leave for events with a place. The route is calculated by Apple Maps; we never receive your location.
This data is read and written through Apple's Calendar and Reminders on your device. If you use iCloud, Apple syncs it between your devices under Apple's Privacy Policy. Clarical has no servers of its own and never sends this data to us.
On Android
- Calendars: Clarical reads and writes events through Android's calendar storage on your phone, including Google, Exchange and other accounts you have added in your phone's settings. Those accounts sync under their own providers' policies (for Google, Google's Privacy Policy). Time blocks you accept go to a “Clarical” calendar that stays on the phone.
- Tasks: Android has no Reminders app, so your tasks are stored in Clarical's private storage on your phone. They are not uploaded anywhere.
- Notifications: the morning plan, evening wrap-up and end-of-block alerts are scheduled on the phone. Clarical also asks to run after a restart, only so it can reschedule them.
- No location and no internet use: the Android app does not ask for your location and makes no network requests of its own, apart from Google Play's purchase service.
Text you type
When you type into “Add anything” or Brain dump, or share text into Clarical from another app, Clarical understands it on your device, using Apple's on-device intelligence where available or Clarical's built-in rules otherwise (always the built-in rules on Android). The text is not sent to us or to any third party.
Settings and app data
Your preferences (working hours, routines, planning history) and task details such as estimated duration are stored only on your device, and in storage shared with Clarical's own widgets and extensions on that device.
Purchases
Clarical Pro is sold through Apple's App Store on Apple devices and Google Play on Android. Apple or Google processes payment; we receive no payment details and no personal information about you.
Analytics, ads and tracking
Clarical contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Children
Clarical does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your choices
You can turn Calendar, Reminders, location and notification access on or off at any time in Settings on your device. Deleting Clarical removes its on-device data; your calendar events and reminders stay in Apple's apps. On Android, deleting Clarical also removes its tasks and the “Clarical” calendar's blocks may remain until you delete that calendar; events in your other calendars stay where they are.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
